Head of Project Management

Our Client
LG Services Group is excited to support Water for Warrill who is a grower-led regional water productivity initiative designed to improve water availability, reliability and economic output across the Warrill Valley through a coordinated package of policy reform, infrastructure planning and institutional partnership.
The Queensland Government has committed $3.4 million in funding to advance the next stage of the project. This funding supports the progression of targeted water plan amendments, the delivery of approximately 8,000 ML of on-farm storage infrastructure and the development of a 12,000 ML off-stream storage solution within the Warrill Valley Water Supply Scheme.
The Role
Working directly with Water for Warrill the role will be reporting to the Executive Lead and Chair in a full time capacity with a maximum term of 2 years. The Head of Project Management will be based in Boonah and will play a critical leadership role in coordinating the delivery of the Water for Warrill initiatives, with a strong focus on professional and cost-effective outcomes.
Working collaboratively with government agencies, Seqwater, industry organisations, consultants, growers and community stakeholders, you will drive successful project outcomes while managing complex technical, commercial, environmental, and stakeholder considerations.

About You
Ideally, we are seeking applicants with qualifications and or experience in project management, business administration, public administration, engineering, agriculture, natural resource management and or a related discipline.
You will possess exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, coupled with the ability to work autonomously.
You will have demonstrated experience in project management, report writing and are passionate about delivering infrastructure that creates lasting public value.
This role would suit a generalist who can operate effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing tasks to a high standard.
